What are some of the problems having to with Abortion and Reproductive Rights?

  • Many girls are having sex as young as 13. Unfortunately, they are not using condoms. When they get pregnant, they don't want to keep their baby. So it's sad that they're not keeping them because they are not ready yet. If more schools had sex class and health class then there's a smaller chance of girls getting pregnant. Teachers would show them how to use a condom. Some students might be disgusted with what they're learning but at least the number of abortions will go down. A lot of teenagers are having sex now and and are not using protection because they don't know how to use it. A solution for that would be sexual education classes and also parents teaching their kids how to use a condom the correct way.
  • Kids are having sex and not using protection while doing it. I don't know the reason why, maybe because they don't want to or they don't know how to use it but either way they knew the consequence. But no, they still have sex anyway. So when they get pregnant they do not want the baby so they make the choice to kill the baby only because they say "I'm too young to have a baby.'' But for some reason they are not too young to have sex.You know we can decrease this problem by having sex education and health class in the school so kids won't make the bad choice to have sex without a condom. Some schools might not want it in their school because parents might over react and not like the idea because that don't want to get the fact that their child might be having sex and needs to learn how to be save through their thick head. But if we have those classes there will be less abortions.
  • Well I think that some people don't remember what is right and after they have the baby they want to abort it but how about that the law I heard about that said that after the girl is pregnant they could abort the baby without telling the mom they should change that law because then everybody could have babies but they also could abort and have the fun and kill the baby.
  • A lot of young girls get pregnant at a young age. They don't use protection or think about what they are going to do. When they find out that they are pregnant they get all surprised and they don't want to keep the baby. I think that what they are doing is wrong. If they know that they want a good future then why do they want to go have sex without protection?
  • This problem is mostly because of the things adults do and the things kids find on the internet and what they find in magazines. If kids were taught Sex Ed and health and more parents stepped in none of this would be happening. If they were told and showed how to use condoms there would be less and less teen getting pregnant and very little abortions. These children kill babies every day cause they don't want kids and that is not right. They should be aloud to live and begin there own life so think twice about sexual intercourse with out a condom.

What does a “day in the life” of a person with this problem look like?

  • Of course if you have sex with a girl your going to get pregnant and there are a lot of responsibilities to that job. To me I think that one responsibility is that till the baby grows up, you have to take care of it. Another responsibility is that you always have to feed your child because you chose to not have a condom when you were having sex and these are the responsibilities that you have to do.
  • I think that if you have the guts to have sex and make the girl pregnant then you should have some guts to have the responsibility of having a baby.
  • The girl's point of view: She had sex, didn't use a condom and got pregnant. In her mind she thinks everything going to be fine, she'll tell her boyfriend he'll be happy and raise the baby and live happily ever after. So she goes with the plan and tells her boyfriend but somethings wrong. He's not happy, he's pretty mad and start questioning wether it is even his baby. The girl tries to tell him she didn't cheat on him and he's the only person she had sex with. He doesn't buy it then he breaks up with her and leaves. The girl is sad she really thought it was going to work out but it didn't. Not sure what to do with her boyfriend leaving, she questions who's going to help her raise the baby? She is so overwhelmed from the idea so chooses to get an abortion and moves on without a baby and a burden on her shoulders.

  • In this case for a young girl to have a baby at a young age its kind of hard because your teenage life ends right there because of the baby. I am not saying you should not have that baby, you should keep it because if you think about having a abortion you would be killing a life and hope because the truth is that you might not want a baby but you never know what might happen when you give birth. Think positive not negative.
  • The boy's point of view: He had sex and didn't use a condom, he doesn't care in his eyes he scored but little did he know what he did. One week goes by and he gets a call from his girlfriend she's happy and tells him to rush over. He go's asks what she so happy tells him "Baby, I'm HAVING A BABY!!!!!!!!!!" She gives him a hug but he's shocked. So many things going through his mind "How did this happen? WHAT!!!!!!!!!" He doesn't know what to do he's upset and start saying "Thats not my baby, you cheated on me."
  • Well, maybe the man have to do double work for the baby and the girl will always wake up early to make milk.

Are there good guys or villains in this problem? If so, who are they?

  • The mother and the father are the villains because they didn't use a condom
  • I think that there are good guys and villains in this problem. The good guys would be the people who tell the teenagers to not have sex without using condoms. The villains would be the people who do have sex. If you had sex because you wanted to it's your fault for not using a condom or birth control.
  • I think that there are good guys and villains in this problem . The good guys would be the people who tell the teenagers to not have sex. The villains would be the people that do have sex. If you had sex because you wanted to its your fault for not using a condom or birth control.

  • I think there are good guys because if he made a mistake he will stay with you because it was his fault for not using a condom.

Who does this problem affect the most? Why?

  • This problem is affecting the girls mostly because many young girls are having sex with out protection and are deciding to have a abortion .
  • This problem affects young girls mostly. Why, because for them, having sex with a boy they love is the way the boy shows his love to the girl by having sex. Then thats when they tell the boyfriend that they are pregnant and then they breakup and the girl decides not to have the baby and the decide to have a abortion.

How big is the problem (For example, 35% of Americans are obese or over 8000 people died from firearms in the U.S. in 2010)

  • The abortion problem is quite big. Each year, almost half of all pregnancies are unplanned. About half of these unplanned pregnancies, 1.3 million each year are ended by abortion.

Why are the solutions already out there not good enough?

  • Condoms and birth control are one of the many solutions that prevent you from getting pregnant but sometimes teens slack off and forget about the consequences that lead to pregnancy.
I think the solutions that are out there is not good enough because boys want to be stupid and not put on the condom but when his girlfriend calls him and gives him the news that she is pregnant then he says its not his and start making excuses.

What causes teens to have sex ?

  • Sometimes when teens have a condom they say "HEY! now that I have a condom I can have sex!" Well that causes teens to have sex at a young age. When they see a condom in there hands they are tempted more to have sex with somebody and make a mistake that they will regret.
